Roxann Burdick

Roxann has been doing hair for over 18 years and has had the pleasure of being trained by some of the industry’s finest professionals. Working under Laurent Dufourg and Mitsu of Prive Hair Salon in Hollywood, and then moving on to The Art Luna Salon in West Hollywood where she trained under Neil Wiesberg, haircut specialist, and finally Art Luna himself, world famous for his colors and cuts.

Roxann opened her own house call business exclusively for the rich and famous which was extremely successful, but after missing her hometown and the kick back life of Santa Cruz, she headed back home. Once in Santa Cruz, she pursued her passion in color, learning the ins and outs of the color chemistry world. She’s internationally trained and became a color educator for IT&LY Hairfashion.

In 2002, she opened Stranded Beauty Bar with her life-partner, Jason Burdick. Roxann specializes in haircutting for all hair types, including curly hair, color, traditional highlights, and Balayage.
